This isn't your typical beauty blog.
Mothers have a new understanding and a new appreciation of beauty. We now know that beauty is beyond superficial, that our bodies have a purpose -- but we're still women; We need confidence and attention. And we deserve it.
As for me:
- As a first-time mom, a newlywed, a full-time staff writer and a freelance writer, I know how hard it is to switch from Mom-mode to bedroom-mode to office-mode.
- As a young mom, I'll still rock skinny jeans and heels -- but have to check for spit-up and cereal stains before leaving the house.
- From my time working for a magazine's beauty department, I've tested thousands of products and gained countless streamlining tips. I understand what works and what doesn't.
